The Stralm Brief · Sample issue

What a weekly issue looks like

Every week, the notable funding rounds — structured, deduplicated, and linked to a primary source on every figure. This is the human-curated brief; the searchable database it previews is what we're building with the founding cohort.

This is a format sample. The rows below are Illustrative — they show the structure, not real deals. The live edition is curated only from public, redistributable sources (SEC EDGAR Form D filings, company press, reputable tech press) with the source linked on every line. We never publish a number we can't trace, and never scrape data we aren't allowed to redistribute.

A real issue carries 8–12 rounds. Currency is normalised to USD at the announced-date FX rate, and the original figure + source is always kept.

Signal of the week

How the analysis reads (example): "Three of this week's six rounds were infrastructure plays raised on the back of an existing revenue line, not a pitch deck — a continuation of the flight-to-traction we flagged a month ago. Meanwhile the seed-stage climate cheque count is down for the third straight week; capital there is concentrating into fewer, later rounds rather than drying up. If you're tracking a sector, watch cheque count, not just total dollars — the headline number hides the shift."

The signal is a 3–4 sentence read on a pattern in the week's data — the analysis layer that makes the brief worth opening, drawn only from the sourced rounds above.

Would you pay for the searchable version?

The brief is the manual preview. The product is a database you can filter, compare, and export across a whole sector — every figure still linked to its source. If that's something you'd use, the fastest way to shape it is to tell us the first filter you'd reach for.
